Fishing Rods
Complete satisfaction guaranteed.  If you are not 100% completely satisfied with the workmanship or performance of your rod please contact me within 30 days after receiving.  I will work with you to ensure full satisfaction.
Coverage.  This Warranty applies to all rods sold by WeaverCraft Custom Fishing Tackle:  Customs, Outcast Fishing Rods™, and rods sold and clearance and discount.
Replacement.  If after receiving your rod you are not 100% satisfied with the material, workmanship, or performance please contact me to discuss within 30 days after receiving.  I will work with  you to come up with a suitable arrangement to replace, modify your rod, or, a partial refund to meet your 100% satisfaction.  Any components or workmanship that you are not satisfied will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
Return and Refund.  In the unlikely, unfortunate event that a suitable agreement cannot be made to your complete satisfaction within 30 days of delivery, a full refund will be given.  The customer is responsible to have the rod delivered to me for refund.  Local customers, and customers who can meet within 100 miles of Chapel Hill, North Carolina please contact me to arrange return.  Customers who cannot arrange an in-person return are responsible for shipping of rod.  Rod is to be securely packed, preferably in original packing container or similar, and insured up to the full value of the rod.  Once the rod is received I will mail a check in the full amount to the address specified.
I will not accept rods that have been altered or in a different state than originally delivered for Replacement or Return and Refund. The rod must be returned in the exact shape in which it was delivered.
Should your rod, or a component (reel seat, guide, tip-top, etc.) fail within the first 30 days after receiving, I will repair and/or replace to your complete satisfaction.  I will work with you to ensure full satisfaction whether that be a Replacement of the rod and/or components, or a Return and Refund of the rod.

ISSUES COVERED BY WARRANTY:  WeaverCraft Custom Fishing Tackle rods come with a LIFETIME Limited Warranty. This warranty covers craftsmanship defects, problems with finish, tip-tops coming loose, wraps, guides coming loose from blank, handles and reel seats becoming loose or disengaging from the blank are covered and will be repaired at no cost if the cause is determined to be other than abuse, neglect or misuse of the rod (ie., slammed in door, stepped on, incorrect use, high sticking, etc).

ISSUES NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY:  All problems, breaks or failures relating to the blank itself are subject to the  rod manufacturer’s warranty. If the rod blank is found faulty by the rod manufacturer and a replacement blank is provided under warranty, I will re-construct your rod on the new blank at 50% of the original price.  
Any damage to guides, reel seat, finish, grips, tip-top or other components through abuse are not covered under warranty, but can be repaired at a reasonable rate. Weathering or corrosion of components such as reel seat hardware or guides is not covered under warranty. Proper care and maintenance will help prevent damage to your custom rod.

***Used rods or rods sold at closeout or discount carry a 1 year warranty***

ROD BLANK MANUFACTURE'S WARRANTY:  If your rod blank or components come with a manufacturer’s warranty, a written copy of the warranty along with any documentation needed to take advantage of that warranty in event of a failure will be provided at your request.  I cannot be held accountable for manufacturer defects in rod blanks or components, but will help you in requesting a warranty replacement from the manufacturer.

I will work with  you to come up with a suitable arrangement to replace, modify, or, a partial refund to meet your 100% satisfaction.  Any components or workmanship that you are not satisfied will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

MANUFACTURE'S WARRANTY:  If parts used as part of repair or service come with a manufacturer’s warranty, a written copy of the warranty along with any documentation needed to take advantage of that warranty in event of a failure will be provided at your request.  I cannot be held accountable for manufacturer defects, but will help you in requesting a warranty replacement from the manufacturer.

WARRANTY SERVICE:  Please contact me prior to delivery of rod for warranty work.  It is the customers responsibility to have rods delivered to me for warranty service.  Local customers, and customers who can meet within 100 miles of Chapel Hill, North Carolina please contact me to arrange pickup and delivery.  Customers who cannot arrange in-person delivery/pickup are responsible for shipping of rod.  Rod is to be securely packed, preferably in original packing container or similar, and insured up to the full value of the rod.  A check for $10 is to be included to offset return shipping costs.  I will pay the difference for standard shipping of the insured rod back to you after warranty service is complete.

NOTICE OF WARRANTY:  The warranty found on the WeaverCraft Custom Fishing Tackle website (www.weavercraftfishing.com/warranty) supersedes all other warranties and is subject to change without notice based upon the discretion of WeaverCraft Custom Fishing Tackle.
