The rod casts incredibly well. I tried a Senko, spinnerbait and a rattletrap. Great distance and tons of power for a solid hook-set. It has excellent sensitivity for such a heavy duty blank. I could easily distinguish between bottom structure and a fish strike. Which is difficult to do at times with bowfin. I liken them to snagging a jet ski. When they attack a bait, it's as if they own it. I am very happy with it. I wanted to sincerely thank you for a job well done.

Text Box: Eddie, I finally got a chance to try the rod out today. Landed a nice 4lb bass with it! It works very well, it took me a little while to get used to the added sensitivity and cast distance. I was throwing up into the trees some because I had to re-calibrate myself as to how far it was going to go, and thinking every stick in the water was a bite :) B. English Rebuild with micro guides

Text Box: Managed to go out with the lp844 and ... son of a gun! what a fine piece of fishing machine! You're correct.. it did throw a weightless senko to the next area code - effortlessly! (i'm still getting use to the way it loads.. but whenever I get it right, a little light whip just launches the senko across the lake) It also [takes] sensitivity to a whole new level. Text Box: Eddie The rod is awesome and there is no way I will part with it. You did a fabulous job. I have had several people admire it and it's light weight. It fishes very well and has an excellent action, everything I expected and more. The grip works very well for me and looks great too. I can throw it all day and not get tired. I can fish cranks all day with it, and have caught fish with it, and I can feel what the bait is doing and it's easy to detect the strike. Job well done!! Thanks!!! Frank Custom Build

Text Box: My rod just arrived this morning. It is absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. My Dad and I stayed outside for half an hour just looking at the marbling and tiger wrap. I love the action. I'm going to use it for small wakebaits (Mann's baby 1-minus) and small shallow divers. May even use it to throw wacky rigged 3/4" senkos. Thank you so much. Long time no fishing rod but that's no longer the case. The rods arrived today and I must say both look amazing. I put curado 200 on mine and it has perfect balance. I did not know the blank was dark green but that makes the color match the reel perfectly also. I can't wait to chuck some cranks with this bad boy.

You do amazing work my friend but we have to work on the delivery time just a little:)
